  Concatenates :samp:`{NCOPIES}` copies of a string.

  :param STRING:
    Shall be scalar and of type ``CHARACTER``.

  :param NCOPIES:
    Shall be scalar and of type ``INTEGER``.

  :return:
    A new scalar of type ``CHARACTER`` built up from :samp:`{NCOPIES}` copies 
    of :samp:`{STRING}`.
