ATAN(X)#
ATAN(X)computes the arctangent ofX.- Parameters:
X – The type shall be
REALorCOMPLEX; ifYis present,Xshall be REAL.Y – The type and kind type parameter shall be the same as
X.
- Returns:
The return value is of the same type and kind as
X. IfYis present, the result is identical toATAN2(Y,X). Otherwise, it the arcus tangent ofX, where the real part of the result is in radians and lies in the range -pi/2 leq Re atan(x) leq pi/2.
